I provide one-on-one nutrition counselling either in person or via telehealth (video or phone call)
Who can see a Dietitian?
Anyone can see a Dietitian to discuss healthy eating, body image or anything else food related - but there are particular chronic diseases that may particularly benefit including:
- High cholesterol/blood pressure/blood sugars
- Insulin resistance/PCOS
- Sub-fertility
- Fatty liver
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome/Coeliac Disease
Initial ConsultationIn our first meeting I will gather plenty of background information from you including your likes and dislikes, current patterns of eating and any areas of concern that you would like to discuss. If you'd like we can discuss any concerns you have with body image and how you feel about food. We can then create a plan you are happy with.

Review ConsultationIn our reviews we can discuss what you have noticed since the last session including hunger and fullness, satisfaction with eating, emotional eating and any barriers you may have come across. I will never weigh you as a way to measure 'progress' or make you feel like you haven't done enough.

Referrals and Rebates
You do not need a referral to make an appointment, however if you do have an eligible referral from your GP via a Chronic Disease Management Plan (up to 5 visits rebated per year) or Eating Disorders Plan (up to 20 visits rebated per year) you can access a rebate from Medicare of $60.35 per session.
Speak with your GP to see if you are eligible for either.
Many private health insurers will rebate for a Dietitian - check with your insurer.
